Call for artist submissions
Following its successful debut in 2006, preparations are already underway for this year’s White Mountain Festival which will again take place over the Heritage Day long weekend from 21-24 September, coinciding with the start of the school holidays.
The festival is held on the grounds of White Mountain Lodge in the scenic Central Drakensberg region of KwaZulu-Natal, only 34km from Estcourt on tarred roads and approximately 430km from Johannesburg and 200km from Durban. It offers festival-goers three days of live acoustic music by established and up-and-coming South African artists, as well as a choice of camping or chalet accommodation with all the amenities, plus a wide range of outdoor activities for the whole family.
If you or your band can play an acoustic/unplugged set and are interested in performing at White Mountain, then please submit your details no later than 18 May 2007.
